Add sources on Android

Nyora for Android starts without sources of its own. Add a data-driven source catalogue once, then choose the individual manga, manhwa and manhua sources you want to browse. The catalogue can update independently of the app, so source fixes and additions do not require reinstalling Nyora.

Choose repositories you trust. A catalogue tells Nyora where to find third-party sources. Nyora does not host their content or bypass their access controls. Use sources responsibly and respect local law and creators' rights.

Add the Nyora catalogue

  1. Open the source setup On the welcome screen, tap Add sources. If you have already finished setup, open Settings → Sources → Source repository.
  2. Paste the Nyora catalogue URL Copy the URL below, paste it into the Source repository field, then tap Add sources. Nyora downloads and validates the catalogue before adding it. Leave the sheet open until it confirms that sources were loaded.
  3. Choose the sources you want Open Sources, search or filter by language and content type, then use the add button on a source row to enable it. Tap a source row to browse it. Your language choices from onboarding are applied to newly loaded catalogues; you can change individual sources at any time.

Manage sources after setup

  • Find a source: use search in the Sources catalog, or filter the list by language and content type.
  • Enable or remove one: use the add / remove control on its row. This changes only that source; the catalogue stays saved.
  • Browse it: tap an enabled source to open its catalogue, then use Popular, Latest or search to find a title.
  • Keep it current: leave the catalogue URL in place. Nyora refreshes it in the background and keeps a local cached copy for the source list.

Troubleshooting

The catalogue says it could not load

Check that the complete URL was pasted, including catalogue.json, and that Nyora has an internet connection. Then try Add sources again.

A source does not appear in the list

Clear or widen the language and content-type filters in Sources, then search by the source name. Sources excluded by your onboarding choices can be enabled there.

A source opens but does not work

Sites can change, be unavailable, or restrict requests. Try again later or choose another source; Nyora does not bypass a site’s access controls.
